Kelsey Harper, MD

Dr. Harper, MD, is a dedicated obstetrician-gynecologist committed to providing compassionate, personalized care to women and girls at every stage of life at Southern OB/GYN in Valdosta, Georgia.

A South Georgia native, Dr. Harper was born and raised in Sparks, Georgia, and is proud to return to the region she has always called home. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia before receiving her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Prisma Health/University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina.

Dr. Harper’s clinical interests encompass a broad range of women’s healthcare, with specialized expertise in obstetrics, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, minimally invasive robotic surgery, contraception, and family planning. She is passionate about providing evidence-based, individualized care while taking the time to understand each patient’s unique needs, concerns, and goals. Her approach centers on creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable, respected, and confident in their healthcare decisions.

With a strong connection to South Georgia and a genuine passion for caring for her community, Dr. Harper is honored to serve patients throughout Valdosta and the surrounding areas. She believes in building meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients and supporting them through every stage of their healthcare journey.

Outside of the office, Dr. Harper enjoys cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, exploring antique shops, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
