Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)

In October 2003, Southern OB/GYN Associates opened a single-specialty outpatient surgery center on our campus. Called Southern OB/GYN Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), our goal is to be the “best place to come for women's ambulatory surgical care.”

Our commitment to providing the highest-quality care has led to certification by the Accreditaion Association for Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). AAAHC is a voluntary program that sets the standard for patient safety and quality care by closely scrutinizing policies and practices for health care facilities nationwide. Patients find our facility warm and inviting – as well as convenient. We have ample parking right next to the building and a waiting area for your support person. Patients perform most pre-surgical tests and complete their paperwork at our facility; radiology procedures are performed at Radiology Associates in Valdosta and EKG's are performed at South Georgia Medical Associates.
