About the Practice

Welcome to Southern OB/GYN

Our History

The medical group was established in 1955 by Thomas H. Moseley, Sr., M.D. He began his practice of obstetrics and gynecology at the Doctor's Building in Valdosta. In 1980, Dr. Moseley, Sr. relocated his office to Oak Center and was joined in practice by his son, Dr. Thomas H. Moseley, Jr.

Since that time, Southern OB/GYN has continued to add quality, well-trained physicians, nurse practitioners and nurse midwives, as well as professional support staff. Our facilities have grown to provide our patients with a progressive medical environment; in February 2000, we moved into our current, expanded facility on Northside Drive. In 2003, we opened the Southern OB/GYN Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) to offer the convenience of outpatient surgery services on our campus.
